The technical dish
Laura Mahony is a portrait and commercial photographer. Laura uses natural light, studio lights, strobes, small flashes, ginormous lights, itty bitty lights, existing light, no light, and just about any kind of light she can get her hands on. Her style is playful, warm, and comfy, and she focuses on movement and relationships in her photos. Her photographs range from ethereal to dynamic and always portray the genuine and personal. Laura works with schools, political campaigns, famous people, not so famous people, businesses, professionals, people in Colorado, people outside of Colorado, and anyone who wants exceptional photographs. She feels privileged to capture each amazing slice of life. All sessions are held on location, whether natural light or other. All sessions are fun and playful, whether portrait or commercial.

I love taking pictures, and I never procrastinate when images are involved.
I am often complimented on how patient I am with children.
I am often complimented on how patient I am with business people who need professional images, but who do not want to have their photographs taken.
I am odd, in a quirky, fun way; not in an involve the police or mathematical kind of way.
I think those serious business people secretly enjoy the quirky part, in an odd way.
I am the youngest of 6, and yes, I am the only girl. I am well protected.
I watch football whenever possible (NFL not college) with my tiara.
I love to rave, and, by the way, I am 40; this does not worry me at all.
I secretly think The Pink Panther movies are some of the best ever made, it's the accent, just kills me!
I have an amazing family, and you should see the beautiful photographs I have of them.
I am afraid of parenting from fear, and, even though my friend trademarked that, I made it funny.
I am shy and humble but, when you meet me, you will not think so (especially if you see me at a rave).
I am good enough to make a beautiful photograph out of a nothing setting, and I can say that even though I am shy and humble.
